Football is for All

Inclusiveness, participation and visibility, that is what WHUST believes following West Ham United is about.

WHUST Chair Sue Watson was proud to be able to represent WHUST at the Pride of Irons Rainbow Laces event held on the 28th November 2023.

It was a privilege to be asked to take part in this event with fellow WHUFC supporters. As well as Pride of Irons there was representation from Inclusive Irons. The Club supported this with several Club Ambassadors attending. These were Matt Jarvis, James ‘Ginger Pele’ Collins and Anton Ferdinand. Kevin Nolan also attended and handed out the prizes.

After sharing drinks and experiences, we were put into teams for a  lively quiz with Bianca Westwood and Tom Skinner as quizmasters. This not only stretched knowledge, but more importantly built those relationships that matter to all.

The Rainbow Laces event is key in clearly stating – football is for all. It is a message WHUST endorses.

WHUST actively works to promote the values of inclusivity, participation  and visibility- after all what other club can give you the experiences that following West Ham United can give. Football at West Ham United FC is for everyone.
